On February 6, Futurenuri signed a business agreement with the Hanoi L&C Academy located in My Dinh, Hanoi, Vietnam for joint marketing and joint use of systems for Vietnamese language education.
The Hanoi L&C Academy welcomes students from various nationalities as well as Korean companies and government agencies that have entered Vietnam, such as Daewoo E&C, Lotte, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Doosan, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), Shinhan Bank, and Woori Bank. It is a prestigious language school for teaching Vietnamese language and spreading Vietnamese culture to students. It is the largest of the foreign language academies that teach Vietnamese to foreigners in Hanoi, and in addition to Vietnamese, it also teaches languages such as Korean and English.
The Hanoi L&C Academy plans to incorporate an online assessment system into the educational curriculum to introduce effective teaching methods with the goal of entering the Korean education market beyond Vietnam.
Under the agreement, Futurenuri will gradually apply and support various new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) technology to prevent cheating, automatic scoring, and test taker score analysis functions to the Hanoi L&C Academy‘s online evaluation system. In particular, with this opportunity, it plans to enter the Vietnamese online education market in earnest.
Currently, Futurenuri‘s ‘NeoTest’ is a computer-based test (CBT) for the Employment Permit System Korean Proficiency Test (EPS-TOPIK), which evaluates foreign job seekers’ Korean proficiency and understanding of Korean society. It is installed in 16 Asian countries. In addition, Korea National Open University, Sejong Cyber University, and Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation are providing services in the form of Internet-based tests (IBT). In particular, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Ministry of Personnel Innovation, the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Agency, and the Korea Maritime and Fisheries Training Institute, which are national qualification test enforcement agencies, are using the Neotest in the form of a paper-and-pencil test (PBT) or CBT.
