III, COURSE PURPOSE

The Vietnamese language course for children and high school students of Hanoi Language & Culture Academy includes many levels suitable for each age group (6 – 12 years old), corresponding to different levels.
• Lessons: Through lessons, children will learn Vietnamese through fun educational stories. Since then, they have formed an interest and passion when learning Vietnamese.
• Students also learn Vietnamese through supplementary skills lessons, so that they can equip and practice life skills from an early age.
• At the end of this course, students will have the necessary knowledge base to have no problems when learning subjects in Vietnamese and communicating with friends and teachers at international schools as well as Vietnamese schools.

IV, TEACHER

+ Teacher: at least 2 years of experience in teaching Vietnamese.

+ Teaching assistant: reviewing lessons for students, correcting pronunciation and helping students make complete sentences

V, EXAMINATION

After completing the Vietnamese language proficiency test course, students have ability to take exams to assess their ability.

1. VINATEST – the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test organized by Hanoi University

2. NLTV – the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test organized by University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

3. VIETEST – Vietnamese language proficiency assessment system for foreigners organized by University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The book is edited by the group of authors Nguyen The Duong, Pham Thi Huong Quynh, Tran Huong Thuc, the book is close to children's lives such as family, school, teachers, friends,... "I am interested in learning Vietnamese and can confidently communicate with friends and teachers in Vietnam"
The curriculum is compiled by Hanoi L&C Academy to supplement knowledge after classes, helping students review and practice knowledge learned in class.

Instrutors:

Ms. Bui Cuc graduated from the University of Social Sciences & Humanities with a Bachelor of Linguistics. In addition, she has 8 years of experience in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners at some language center in Hanoi. In addition, Ms. Bui Cuc has a lot of experience in teaching and preparing for the Vietnamese proficiency test – OPIC test for foreigners. Her students all achieved high results in the Vietnamese language proficiency tests.
Ms. Kim Ngan graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language of Social Sciences and Humanities. She has 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant and 2 years of experience in researching and tutoring Vietnamese for foreigners. In addition, she also attended seminars on methods of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners organized by the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language – University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
