In the last lesson, we learned about a structure “S + có + noun + không?” . It similar to the yes/no question structure in English. Today, we will learn another structure with verbs and adjectives. Let’s start!!!
1.Grammar
We have the basic sentence structure with verb:
- Using: used to ask someone whether that things or want to ask someone’s opinion. In this question, the whose expected answer is one of two choices, one that affirms the question and one that denies the question.
- “Không” means No in English. In the Vietnamese language, “Không” is popularly used to say no or to disagree with someone.
- If it is an adjective we have the following structure:
Depending on different situations and the people you talk to, you will use different words to answer your agreement or disagreement.
2. Practice
To better understand this structure, let’s practice following the examples below
1. Bạn có ăn sầu riêng không? (không)
2. Bạn có biết tiếng Việt không? (một chút)
3. Anh có chơi golf không? (có)
4. Ở đó bún chả có ngon không? (không)
5. Cái túi này có nặng không? (có)
