Have you ever heard of “floating market”?
In floating markets, buyers and sellers use boats to trade on the river. On a trip to Can Tho, I went sightseeing at the Cai Rang floating market once
We left from the early. We set off at Ninh Kieu wharf to take a boat to Cai Rang floating market. The busiest time in the floating market is from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
The boat parked close to each other. Whatever the seller sell, they hang that item on a pole in the prow of boat. Customers who see it from afar will row a boat to ask to buy.
Fruits are sold the most. Moreover, since it is the end of the year, many kinds of flowers are sold in the floating market.
We were quite hungry since we had to go from the early, we decided to eat breakfast at the floating market. A lot of dishes are sold here: hu tieu, bun rieu, coffee…
People here are also really friendly. Don’t be afraid to talk with them!
The weather in the morning were cool. We also can enjoy a wonderful dawn.
I’ve written about my trip to Cai Rang Floating Market. What about you guys? What do you think about this kind of market?
